The Les Paul Studio is part of the Gibson Modern Series . This Studio Series model appeared on the scene in 1983 as a guitar studied for studio recordings, while the Standard and Custom Les Paul models, with their design embellishments, were more likely to be reserved for stage performances. The Studio guitar lacks many of the ornamental features of the upscale models, but maintains all of the high quality sound performance and playability. Why is this so? Check out our video below that will walk you through the Studio's features, show you sound test samples and provide an overall assessment of the guitar!
